Grade 6_ Lesson 1 !

Learning how to develop listening skills and physical/mental coordination while having fun! 

Welcome all to our brand new Drama Class!

Hello everyone and welcome back!

In this blog you will be updated regularly in our drama progress by pictures and funny stories of our achievements (!) and of course you will find all the additional material to work more with your characters from the plays we'll be working on.

You will be able to play  "scenario games" with your friends and  you will be able to share you ideas for drama games.

Please make sure that you wear comfortable clothes during our classes  - girls, please no skirts! :)

This is the  Drama Class schedule for this year:

Grade 1: Monday, 14:10 - 15:00
Grade 2: Friday, 11:00 - 11:50
Grade 3: Wednesday, 13:10 - 14:00
Grade 4: Wednesday, 14:10 - 15:00
Grade 5: Monday, 13:10 - 14:00
Grade 6: Thursday, 13:10 - 14:00

During our Drama Classes we will be introduced to the amazing world of Theater through various activities, such as:

• Ice Breakers
• Warm Ups
• Concentration games
• Group Dynamics activities
• Improvisation
• Mime and movement games
• Sound pictures
• Story telling activities 

...and many many more!

With the higher grades, (4-6) we will explore different famous plays and we will learn how to create a theatrical character, we will attempt to make our own script and we will live the off - stage experience by learning how to be a stage manager, a light producer, a make up artist, and a costume designer.
