A New Chapter in Performing Arts: Welcome IBSH students to an exciting music cour

Hello parents and students,

My name is Faye Rigopoulou and this year we will explore together the fantastic world of music.
I am very excited to join the IBSH family as I have experienced bits of this loving and welcoming atmosphere; a lot of you have strongly supported through the past years my musicals (Annie, Matilda, School of Rock) and have joined my workshops about the thrilling world of Drama and Film Making.

If you are a student in Grade 3 to Grade 8, I will be teaching you and accompany you to your new musical explorations.
In this blog you will be able to watch interesting videos, yourselves :) in class achieving your goals, and many, many pictures!

During our first class, you will all receive a small leaflet with a letter for your parents, the course syllabus (including the supplies, the classroom rules and a small summary of your lessons) and a unique password to your Class Dojo account.
Please, if you were absent during this class remind me to give it to you as soon as possible.

Our new classroom is magnificent!
I have included some pictures to get you excited as I am, and during our first meeting I will give you a detailed tour.
I need to emphasize, though, that you will be able to perform on all the instruments that we have as a member of a specific groups or as a solo performer!
24 classical guitars, 4 cellos, 6 violins, 2 violas, 45 xylophones and glockenspiels, timpani, floor toms, clarinets, flutes, saxophones, trumpets, tubas, and a lot lot more are all waiting you to give them life!

Please try to follow the blog weekly as you will also find important information about you homework and schedule too.
