Grade 4: Expressing feelings through face painting; introduction to the theatrical make up

Face painting has its origins centuries ago.
Used by several tribes to mark special occasions or professions,
used by the Celts and other warriors to intimidate the enemy,
used in the Chinese Opera and Kabuki theater,
and - of course - evolved into visual effects makeup in the movie industry.

During our Drama Classes, we will learn how to use specific techniques to transform the face of our cast to different characters.

First lesson: Introduction to lines and colors.
